Black & White on a Colorful Day

Another gorgeous day at the lake.  Grandma & Papa arrived today to hang for the 4th of July.  All of us are enjoying a week of laziness, reading, kayaking, taking pictures, kettle fires, swimming, splash wars and over indulging.  Couldn't ask for anything more!

Lake Monsters

We are so lucky to be spending two weeks this Summer on Canandaigua Lake. The girls love it here and it is such a wonderful tradition.  Our little monsters loaded their faces with zinc before they hit the water with their cousin Stefan.

Return to Treehouse

As promised to the girls, we returned to Treehouse Vineyards so they can have time to play in the treehouse and run around the grounds. They had a great time and the bonus, Grandma and Grandpa were there with us this time.(original post)

Swing For A Cure (A night out with the Knights)

Saturday night we took the girls to a Charlotte Knights baseball game. This was a special night for us as a portion of the proceeds goes to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). The Knights wore special beach themed jerseys that were auctioned off during the game.   Addy was very excited to see other kids “like her”. Although she was a little distracted by the man selling cotton candy. Sorry Bubba.  At the end of the evening, they presented a check for $7,000 to JDRF. Amazing to think one inexpensive fun night can do such good for little ones like Bubba.  This event got us excited for the walk in April. Now if we can come up with a cute slogan for Team Brown.
