A Decade
How is it possible that its been a decade since our miracle angel was born? How can she be in 4th grade and how can we be painting this rock for the 5th time for her? It was another cold day for painting a rock but it is always fun and we had some extra help this year.

Happy 6th Birthday Adeline
At times, I am jealous of her spontaneity and carefree attitude. She lives in the moment not thinking of the next. She has a Can-Do attitude. She is decisive with everything and smart with her money. She "rolls" with everything life throws at her. The little things make her so happy. Her smile is contagious and dimples so sweet. She has unbelievable God given highlights. She has a sister that takes care of her, consoles her, makes her laugh and cry. She's the life of the party. She sees everything as an adventure.
She's what I want to be when I grow up.
May you always keep your spunk and live in the moment as you do now. Happy 6th Birthday Bubbaloo!

Rockin Six
It feels like Bubba has been 5 forever! All her friends turned 6 months ago so it was finally her turn. Winter break started on the 19th, so we had to paint the school rock early for her. This was the first time we were able to paint on a weekend not fighting the darkness. Luckily we beat the rain and I was able to take some pictures with my phone, but I never got back to take some good ones with Addy and Evelyn due to two straight days of rain. By the time it stopped, someone was already painting over it.

Gingerbread girls
Before the girls were even thought of, I would make this big gingerbread barn from scratch. It would smell so good in our house in NY. One day I will do that again, but since the girls made their appearance, we are much lazier. So the tradition of a store bought, some assembly required gingerbread house continues. The girls were exceptionally silly and hyper. Wonder if it had anything to do with all the sugar that was supposed to go on the house but ended up in their mouths. Let's just say Addy got so crazy, our 55 degree pool looked inviting, so she jumped in, fully clothed.

North Pole Sweetie
After much begging and letters to Santa, Evelyn finally got her girl elf. Tucknee and Lexie flew to Florida on Thanksgiving morning. I wish you could have heard the screams of two happy girls.

My Little Scarecrow
Today is Scarecrow Day for all the kindergarteners and Book Character Day for 1st-5th graders. It is always a mad rush in the morning but we were able to throw some clothes together and put on a little makeup and do the best we could. Evelyn picked Ramona from the Ramona & Beezus book series. The only thing that costume requires is red rain boots, but she decided to throw on on a witches hat since Ramona dresses up like a witch for Halloween in her book. Tonight Ramona and the Zombie Bride will hit the neighborhood. Happy Halloween!
